PARTICIPANTS
The people selected for
Leadership Bee
County are leaders
in the community and in their professions. Representing all facets of the
area, they are corporate and non-profit executives, educators, volunteers,
lawyers, physicians, health professionals, journalists, artists,
entrepreneurs, and elected officials, among other. Emanating from a
diversity of backgrounds and personal experiences, each participant brings
a uniquely vital viewpoint from which all call members benefit.
THE SELECTION PROCESS
Participants represent a diverse cross-section of Bee
Countians from the public, private and volunteer sectors of leadership.
From a pool of qualified applicants, each class is carefully chosen to
reflect a balance of ethnic, cultural, geographic, career and volunteer
experiences. The selection process is competitive and not all who apply
are accepted. It is not unusual for potential participants to apply more
than once before acceptance, and repeat applications are encouraged.
Participants will be chosen by a committee of the Board of Directors and
will be announced in August.
