Mrs. Maria G. Tanguma, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was taken into the Arms of Our Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2003. 

Maria was born on March 25, 1925 in Oakville, Texas to Rafeal and Augustina Gonzales. 

Mrs. Tanguma is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ramon S. Tanguma Sr.; four sons Ramon (Ginny) Tanguma Jr. of Corpus Christi, Tx. Joe (Ruby) Tanguma of Bay City, Tx. Rene (Mary) Tanguma of Willis, Tx. And Rocky Gamez of Beeville, Tx.; five daughters; Elia (George) Dings of Atlanta, Georgia, Edelia (Mohammad) Zabihinoury of Houston, Tx. Diane Tanguma of Houston, Tx. Nelda (Robert) Jones of Beeville, Tx. And Nora (Troy) Schwindt of Beeville, Tx.; one sister; Efigenia (Rosalio) Rendon of Petersburg; one step brother; Damian Pacheco of Tynan, Tx.; nineteen Grandchildren and fourteen Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 28, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2003 with Burial to follow at Beeville Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Mohammad Zabihinoury, George Dings, Robert Jones II, Troy Schwindt, Richard Tanguma, Joe Tanguma II and David Tanguma,.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Jones III, Benjamin Dings, Javier Tanguma, Peyman Zabihinoury, Rocky Gamez and Gilbert Perez.

Let go of the bad and the good will appear, Trust in the knowledge that He’s always near, That answers and choices are always more clear when you can let go and let God.
