Typing Strategy "Hide the Keyboard" Typing strategy by taping a piece of paper to the monitor and draping it over the hands of the students so that they could not see the keys. The students discovered that they knew most of the keys even "without looking." We kept telling the students to "trust" themselves. "You know the keys without looking."
