Edinburg, Texas -  Beeville, Texas

Mr. Sigifredo “Freddy” Silva was called into the Gates of Heaven on August 17, 2004 at the age of 60. 

 Freddy was born on July 14, 1944 in Edinburg, Texas to the late Pedro Silva and Lenore Farias. 

He was preceded in death by one son; Joseph Gabriel Silva and one brother Servando Silva. 

He is survived by his wife Josie Martinez Silva of Beeville, Texas; two daughters; Rosie Moreno and Angie (Ted) Garza both of Beeville, Texas; two brothers; Silvano Silva and Salvador Silva both of Beeville, Texas; one sister; Lupe Silva Rodriguez of Beeville, Texas; eight grandchildren; Joseph Allen Silva, Felipe MorenoIII, Gabriela Moreno, Wynonna Moreno, Richard Moreno, Julia Garza, Joseph Garza and David Garza. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 20, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m.  Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 20, 2004.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Luke officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery # 2.  Serving as pallbearers will be Eddie Silva, Bobby Silva, Joe “Neto” Martinez, Gerald Martinez, Michael Martinez, Fernando Garza, Mingo Salinas and Oscar Garcia.
