Santos was born in San Diego, Texas on June 7, 1911. Mrs. De La Garza was a homemaker and a devoted Methodist. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Damian De La Garza, her brothers Juan, Martin and Armando Navarro and one half brother Ramon Navarro and her husband Damian De La Garza. She is survived by one daughter Alice (Bennie) Mendoza of Beeville, Tx. One son David De La Garza of San Antonio, Texas; One sister Amada Esquivel of Edinburg, Tx. ; two half brothers, Andres Navarro Jr. of San Antonio and Rodolfo Navarro of Mission, Tx.; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 7:03 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2003 2:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel, minister Bacilio Martinez, with burial to follow at the Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Juan, Jimmy, David De La Garza, Bennie Mendoza, Scotty Marquez and Tily Salinas. May prayers and faith and knowing you’re loved carry you through times of doubt, and lead you to perfect peace.
