San Juanita Amador

Mrs. San Juanita Amador is now in the Hands of God.  She was taken by Angels on Monday, January 27, 2003 at the age of 50. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Valintine Amador and Rafaela Rodriguez and her sister Antonia A. Barcenas. She was born on August 10, 1952 in Beeville, Texas.  San Juanita enjoyed spending quality time with her family and children always having lots of laughs and special moments.  She was a very devoted person when it came to her children. San Juanita enjoyed animals and especially her little Chihuahua Chacho.   She is survived by her three sons; Johnny Lee (Kimberly) Amador, Paul Anthony Amador both of Beeville, Texas and Robert Lee Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas; one brother; Miguel (Andrea) Amador of Beeville, Texas; one sister; Anita (David) Rodriguez of Beeville, Texas; three half brothers; Valintine (Isabela) Amador of Beeville, Texas, Santos (Lupe) Amador of Austin, Texas and Pedro Amador of Victoria, Texas; 2 half sisters; Ursula Guajardo of Beeville, Texas and Otilia (Jose) Tijerina of Plainview, Texas; A daughter in law Elizabeth Rodriguez; Four grandchildren; Joshua Lee Amador, Saxon Lee Rodriguez, Destiny Rodriguez and Ashtin Rodriguez and several nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2003 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Gonzales officiating.  Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery where Birds of Paradise will be released . San Juanita will journey into the pearly gates of Heaven, where she will be taken by Angels into the arms of her Lord. The family watch into the Heavens while the beautiful snow-white birds danced peacefully into the sky as it brought peace, tranquility, and hope to all who watched.
