Mr. Johnny Calvin
Pressley, 55 went peacefully into the arms of our
Lord, on Sunday, December 8, 2002. He was born on
February 9, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Tx.
He is survived by his
mother Margaret Lavina Hooper Pressley of Mathis,
Tx. One daughter Sarah Lynn Henry of Keller, Tx.
Two sisters Catherine Ann Wyble and Barbara Jo
Noblett both of Mathis, Tx. Mr. Pressley was
preceded in death by his grandson Jasen Scott
Henry, his father Joseph Cuyler Pressley his
Paternal Grandfather Calvin Lowry Pressley his
Paternal Grandmother Sara Weed Ethridge Pressley,
his Maternal Grandfather John Carter Hooper and
his maternal Grandmother Alberta Tennessee Walker
Frymire.
Mr. Pressley proudly
served with the United States Marines during the
Viet Nam War. Johnny was a heavy equipment
operator with J.M. Davidson.
Visitation was held on
Tuesday, December 10, 2002. Funeral Service was
held on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 1:30 p.m.
at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jamey
Wyble officiating. Interment will follow at the
Taft Memorial Park, in Taft, Tx.
With
the United States Marines serving as pallbearers
and conducting full Military Honors for Mr. Johnny
Calvin Pressley who proudly served and defended
our Country. Johnny is one of the few, the proud
the United States Marines.
