Mr. Joe Garcia Rojas age 70 passed away Thursday, July 1, 2004 in Christus Spohn Hospital. 

Joe was born on January 10, 1934 in Beeville, Texas to the late Daniel and Francisca Rojas. 

He was preceded in death by three sisters; Maria Sifuentes, Hermelinda Ortega and Enriqueta Tijerina and five brothers; Blas, Augustin, Arturo, Frank and Erasmo Rojas. 

He was retired from Sherman William doing fine frame work and antique refinishing, also from Modern Pipe as a machinist.  Joe was a faithful catholic and a member of St. James Catholic Church. 

Joe was married on July 11, 1952 to his loving wife Mary Rojas of Beeville, Texas; others survivors include three daughters; Frances (John) Beemer of Humble, Texas, Linda Rojas Flores of La Porte, Texas and Margaret (Daniel) Mesquita of Beeville, Texas; three brothers; Benjamin Rojas of Hartford Ct., Daniel and Onofre Rojas both of Beeville, Texas; one sister; Ermila Canales of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren; Joseph Rojas Flores, Jessica Daniella Beemer and Johnathan Beemer.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 4, 2004 from 10:00 a.m. till 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening.   Mass of resurrection will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Monday, July 5, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at the Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be John Beemer, Daniel Mesquita, Joseph Rojas Flores, Johnathan Beemer, Joseph Garza and Steve Rojas.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Alfonso Arredondo, Luz Garza, Julio Sanchez, Eddie Rojas, Ralph Garza, Edward Sanchez, Frank Garza Sr., and Jerry Sanchez.
