Jesus Morales Diaz Sr. was called upon our Lord on March 19, 2002 at the age of 83.  Jesus was born in Goliad, Texas on September 19, 1919. 

He is survived by his wife, Maria Rosa Diaz of Skidmore, Texas; 4 daughters - Dolores Munoz of Cladwell, Idaho; Estella Diaz of Elgin, Illinois; Mariana Garcia of Skidmore, Tx.; and Jesusa Jasso of Corpus Christi, Tx.; 4 sons - Jesus and Antonio Diaz, both of Skidmore, Tx.; Juan Diaz of Streamwood, Illinois; Decidoro Diaz of Elgin, Illinois; 1 brother, Tony Diaz of Denver, Colorado; 40 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Rosary was held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church with Rev. Paul Rajareegam officiating.  Burial was followed at Descanso Eterno Cemetery #2 in Mathis, Texas.  Pallbearers were B.J. Diaz, J.J. Diaz, Luis Diaz, Felix Menchaca, Fernando Garcia, and Alonso Jasso.

Prayer should be the key of the day and the lock of the night..
