Mr.
Israel Guajardo , 65
went Safely Home into the arms of our Lord on
Sunday, January 19, 2003.
Israel was born on
August 14, 1937 in Taft, Texas to the late Loreto
Guajardo and Angelita Casanova. Israel was also
preceded in death by one daughter Angelita
Servantes and one brother Rafael Guajardo.
Mr. Guajardo was retired as manager of Exxon
Service Station after 18 years of faithful service
he also graduated from Skidmore-Tynan High School.
Israel is now in Heaven, so happy and watching
over his loving family.
There
is perfect joy and beauty in this everlasting
light. All pain and grief is over, every
restless tossing passed; he is now at peace
forever, Safely home in Heaven at last.
He
is survived by his loving wife Virginia Martinez
Guajardo of Beeville, Texas, One daughter; Jesusa
Guajardo of Beeville, Texas, two stepdaughters;
Gloria Cano and Rosa Bridge both of Beeville,
Texas; two sons; Abel and Israel Guajardo Jr. both
of Beeville, Texas; four stepsons; Abram and
Nieves Moreno Jr. both of Beeville, Texas and
Manuel Moreno of Maine and Adrian Moreno of Corpus
Christi, Texas; One brother Abel Guajardo of Las
Vegas, Neveda . And numerous
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great
grandchildren.
Rosary was held on
Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino
Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection was held on
Wednesday at 10:30 am at St. James Catholic
Church. Interment was followed at Evergreen
Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas. Pallbearers were
Abel Guajardo, Severo Valdez Jr., Ruben Masquifelt,
Abel Guajardo Sr., Adrian Moreno and Javier M.
Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers were Nieves Moreno
Jr., Jose Gonzales and Abram Moreno.
When
we look back, we realize that the things which
came to us
when we put ourselves in God’s hands were better
than anything we could have planned.
