She was preceded in death by her father Felipe Arredondo Sr. her mother Tomasita Ramirez and her husband, one daughter; Melinda M. Barnett and four brothers and 3 sisters. Genoveva was born in Riverdale, Texas on January 3, 1924 and was a life long resident of Beeville, Texas. Beva was a devoted catholic and a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. She is survived by seven daughters; Frances Moreno, Melba (Victor) Martinez, Laura (Domingo)Guerra, Dora (Jarvis) Ochoa, Lucille Gonzales and Genevieve (Gregorio) Diaz all of Beeville, Texas and Rosie Jane (Joe) Torres of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Others surviving relatives are one sister, Tomasita (Adalberto) Trevino of Beeville, Texas 20 grand children, 33 great-grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Rosary was held on Monday, December 15, 2003 at Trevino Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Gonzales officiating and burial was followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery # 1.
