Elogia Garcia Martinez, age 84, passed away on December 25, 2005 in a local hospital. Elogia was born in Normanna, Texas on March 11, 1921 to the late Melquiades Garcia and Adela Yanez Garcia.

Survivors include 3 sons; Pedro (Gloria), Saragoza (Christina) Martinez both of Beeville also Armando (Celinda) Martinez of Pflugerville, Texas

two sisters; Susie Salinas of San Antonio and Adela Suniga of Dallas.

Seven grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sisters Juanita Salinas and Ysidra Guerra also two brothers Eugenio and Domingo Garcia

Rosary will be recited at 7:30p.m. Monday at Trevino Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Patrick Donohoe officiating. Burial will follow at Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Carlos, Russell, Brandon, Alix, Gabriel Martinez, also Gino Garcia
