Clarice Jolee Barrera was called by our Most Precious Lord on Sunday, December 15, 2002 at the age of one year old. 

Angels and her cousin Lawerence Ponce were at the gates of Heaven to receive Clarice.  She was preceded in death by her maternal Grandfather Garry Montez. 

She is survived by her mother Christy Jay Ponce and her father Joseph Barrera both of Beeville, Texas.  Her grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Arturo and Linda Barrera, Belinda Ponce, Mary Baldarramos and Genoveva Hernandez all of Beeville, Texas and Mr. & Mrs. Joventino Ponce of Houston, Texas.  Great-Great Grandparents: Dominga Ponce, Juanita Martinez both of Beeville, Texas Her Godfather David Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas and her Godmother Casilda Prado of Beeville, Texas.  And a very special friend and care taker Rosie Solis of Bishop, Texas. 

Visitation was held on Monday December 16, 2002 at 8:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel.  Mass of Resurrection was held at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Gonzales officiating.  Interment was followed at Glenwood Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Leroy Barrera, Mark Ponce, Frankie Barrera and Freddy Aleman.  

Honorary Pallbearers were David Barrera and Javier Joel Baldarramos.
