Mr. Salazar was born on April 25, 1938 in Beeville to the late Pedro and Matilde Garcia Salazar. He was preceded in death by one son, Christobal “Bebe” Salazar, Jr. and three brothers, Ben, Baldemar, and Pedro Salazar, Jr. Mr. Salazar was a retired concrete contractor and a member of St. James Catholic Church. Mr. Salazar is survived by his wife, Eva Salinas Salazar, of Beeville; one daughter, Annette (Chris) Clarich of Calallen; two sons, Lee (Lolly) Salazar of Beeville, and David Salazar of San Antonio; one sister Senida (Joe) Brown; two brothers, Carlos “Chale” (Valentina) Salazar, and Victor (Eva) Salazar, Sr. all of Beeville; six grandchildren, Chris Lee, Lisa, Angela, and Samantha Salazar, Logan Olivarez, and Kimberly Gonzales. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Trevino Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Victory cemetery #2. Pall bearers will be Eloy Salazar, Carlos Salazar, Ricky Salazar, Reza Jery, John Longoria, and Aaron Gonzales. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marcelino Garcia, Joe Gonzales, Johnny Longoria, Frankie Alvarado, Jesse Perez Jr., Adrian Gomez, and Charlie Rendon.
