Candelario was taken into the Gates of Heaven at the age of 66, he was born in Beeville, Texas On November 19, 1936 to the Late Ysidro C. Martinez and Rosa Soliz. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Elvira Martinez and Sofia Martinez and one daughter Maria Elena and his granddaughter Melissa Gonzales. He is survived by his wife Ignacia P. Martinez two sons; Antonio and Candelario Martinez Jr. all of Beeville, Texas Seven daughters; Janie Martinez, Delia Perez and Belinda Martinez all of Beeville, Texas Mary Ann and Patricia Martinez both of Port Lavaca, Texas Elvira Bustos of Richmond, Texas And Nancy Martinez of George West, Texas Two sisters; Paula Posada and Eloisa Salazar both of Beeville, Texas 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Rosary was held on Sunday, June 1, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection was held on Monday, June 2, 2003 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Richard Gonzales officiating. Burial was followed at San Pedro Cemetery in Clareville, Texas Pallbearers were Joel Martinez, Raul Rodriguez Jr., Jesse Bustos, David Trow Bridge, Bobby Banera and Eliseo Salinez II “God help us to accept the responsibility for finding a better way of life through surrendering to You and Your Guidance.”
