Birds of Paradise were released as a symbolic beauty representing the spirit of the departed loved one being released to begin the final journey home. Five white doves were released to ascend and circle the area.  Moments later, a single white dove was released; representing the spirit of the departing loved one.  Once released, it joins the others which represent the Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost and is lovingly guided on the final journey home.
