Goliad, Texas - Corpus Christi, Texas. 

Mr. Amado E. Moreno Sr. age 81 passed away on August 1, 2004 in Corpus Christi, Texas. 

Amado resided in Beeville, Texas and was born in Goliad, Texas on Sept. 12, 1922 and was a retired laborer.

Amado was preceded in death by his first wife; Flora Maldonado Moreno, two sons; Agapito and Felipe Moreno, One stepson; Eugenio Vidaurri, one sister; Petra Ramos; one brother; Martin Moreno. 

Survivors include his spouse Minerva Martinez Moreno; two daughters; Juanita M. Campos of Beeville, Texas and Yolanda M. (Martin) Flores of Dallas , Texas; four sons; Gregorio (Beda) Moreno and Amado (Rosa) Moreno Jr. both of Alvarado, Texas, Pedro Moreno of Beeville, Texas and Juan Moreno of Dallas, Texas; three stepsons; Tony, Sisto and Arturo Arredondo; seven stepdaughters; Beatrice Long, Irma Reynero, Dora, Elena and Lupita Arredondo, Celina Camacho, Rosie Landreth and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 28 step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.

Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2004 at Trevino Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Balaswamy Pasala officiating.  Burial was followed at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery # 2.  Pallbearers were Raven D. Moreno, Gavino Moreno, Mario Moreno, Epimenio “Buddy” Campos III, Epimenio “Epi” Campos IV, and Arturo Arredondo.  Honorary Pallbearers were Felipe Moreno Jr. and Agapito Moreno Jr.
