Birds of Paradise were released as a symbolic beauty representing the spirit of the departed loved one being released to begin the final journey home. Five white doves were released to ascend and circle the area.  Moments later, a single white dove was released; representing the spirit of the departing loved one.  Once released, it joins the others which represent the Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost and is lovingly guided on the final journey home

Pallbearers were Benito Garza Jr., Charlie Ulrich, Dionicio Arredondo, Kenneth Reis, Javier Flores and Ruben Perez.  Honorary Pallbearers were Ysabel Gonzales, Mary Ann (Corazon De Melon) Posada.

Today I stumbled and once again was lifted up by an unseen hand.
What comfort and joy that knowledge brings.
For I hear the whisper of angel wings.
The guardian angels God sends to all
To bear us up when we stumble and fall.
Trust Him, my friend, and often you’ll hear
The whisper of  Angel wings hovering near.
