Alberto 'Beto' Zuniga, age 85 entered into eternal rest August 19, 2005. Mr. Zuniga was a retired self-employed plumber; he was also a life time member of The Holy Name Society. Survivors include his wife Tomasita Jaure Zuniga of Beeville; two daughters, Elsa (Joe Henry) Alaniz of Beeville and Elia (Nick) Reyna of Houston: two brothers, Bartolo and Martin Zuniga both of San Antonio: two sisters, Tila Anthony of San Antonio and Tomasita Perez of Kansas; seven grandchildren, Linda (Luis) Vasquez, Jody (Gaila) Alaniz, Nicky (Darlene) Reyna, Cruz Alberto (Veronica) Alaniz, Debbie Reyna, Mari Alaniz, and Albert Rene Reyna; eight great grandchildren, Laura Yvette, Xavier and Lucas Vasquez, Dyllon Sharp, Estella Sanchez, Trey, Leslie, and Noemi ( Noe) Alaniz. A rosary will be recited at 7:30p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00a.m., Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Beeville Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jody Alaniz, Nicky Reyna, Cruz Alberto Alaniz, Albert Reyna, Paul Jaure, and Luis A. Vasquez. Honorary pallbearers will be Martin Sanchez, Tony Loya, and Monseis Manzano.
