THE HONEY NUT CHEERIOS BEE
What’s the latest buzz on the Parade this year? It’s the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee! Measuring at 37.2 feet tall, 33.5 feet wide and 60 feet long with a volume of 15,000 cubic feet of helium, the Balloon is sponsored by Honey Nut Cheerios. Never without his favorite food, he carries 9,700 gallons of honey in a 20 foot round pot down Broadway. His 15 foot long antenna guides him down the Parade route to Herald Square. Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Cheerios, the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee is all dressed up in a special birthday tuxedo designed by third graders from Beeville, TX.
