- A total of 8,703.65 volunteer hours was contributed to Christus Spohn Hospital Beeville during 2002, the Christus Spohn Hospital Volunteers learned Wednesday night at their annual awards banquet at the Beeville Country Club.
Top individuals who were presented awards this year included:
Teresa Holland, 9,500-hour pin; Ester Cuevas, Doris Fealy, Ruth Herrmann, Lottie Patton and Jean Schmidt, 2,000-hour pins; Fran Thompson, 500-hour pin and past president’s bar; Betty Lou Brendalen, Andrew Schmidt and Pat Walker, 500-hour pins; Quincy Davis, Shirley and Gene Peters, Patty Dobson, Norris Rider and Olga Villarreal, 300-hour pins; Emma Finke, past president’s pin; Coral Gibson, patch, pin and president’s bar; Louise Bingham, Elizabeth Galloway, Ann Koger, Arturo Garza and Arthur Silber, patch and pin; and Pat Hartman and Elena Ruiz, patches
